Singer began making cars and commercial vehicles in 1901, starting with the Tri-Voiturette,a 2 ½ hp engine available in two variants –the No.1 (passenger facing backward) and the No.2 (passenger facing forward).Although beginning by making three-wheel vehicles, they then moved on to four-wheel cars in 1905 and in latter years began developinglarger cars for an expanding market such as the 1919 Ten, 1927 Junior 8 and the 1927 Senior 10/26 tourer.Technology cranked up again with the 1933 Silent Six Continental Sports Saloonand then in 1934 the Le Mans 2-seater sports.Notable finds on the classic car scene would be the 1936 Bantam Nine 4-door, the Nine tourer and later on the Nine saloon.
