1958 Wolseley 1500 MK I Saloon. Grey over Black with red and grey leather upholstery. This charming Wolseley 1500 was sympathetically restored in 2006 and has covered less than 1,000 miles since. The car was first registered on January 1st 1958 and supplied to Mr Cornall of Blackpool, he kept the car until 28th November 1990, a total of thirty three years. The second owner, Dr John Catheral of Gerrards Cross owned the car until January 2006 some fifteen years. The third owner Mark Ellis carried out the restoration and sold the car in 2007 to Mr Coltart. Mr Coltart then spent a further £1500 on converting the car to run on unleaded fuel and some small areas of bodywork addressed, he kept the car through to 2015 when the last owner acquired the Wolseley. The car is a very early MK I 1500 produced in the first year of manufacture 1957. There are very few MK I's left on the road and even less in this condition. The engine is original to the car and is matching numbers. On test drive the car performed without fault with a good engine and gearbox. This car is in summary this is a very usable classic Wolseley that can be taken to shows or purely enjoyed at your leisure. We think this is a car that any enthusiast would be very proud to own.
