vehicle overview

1966 Triumph Herald Convertible 1200. Gunmetal Grey with Midnight Blue upholstery. This lovely convertible has been cared for with no expense spared. Most recently the Herald has been looked after by Jigsaw Triumph Specialists and in the last 4,000 miles has had the gearbox and differential fully rebuilt, new propshaft, new drive shaft universal joints, full alignment check, new front shock absorbers and trunnion kits, new rear shock absorbers, new mohair hood, new stainless steel exhaust system, replacement exhaust manifold, new track rod ends and a full service. This is a very well sorted Herald that is as good both mechanically and structurally. On test drive the car performed just as it should ans without fault. The 1200 engine is very strong and the fresh gearbox smooth and precise. With the wire wheels this Triumph really stands out from the crowd and gets lots of admiring glances.
