1954 Standard Vanguard Pick-Up in Green and cream. This very rare Standard Vanguard pick-up was imported from Australia in 2005 and from this point underwent a 2 year restoration completely stripping it down and restored it to a very high standard. The restored green leather bench seat is from an earlier restoration which took place in Australia some years ago. Since the latest restoration this Vanguard pick-up has been used sparingly, mainly for shows and kept in dry storage.
The vehicle was registered here in October 2011 and come with a V5 and some photos of the restoration on file, and a couple of MOTs. Recent works with invoices on file include a full restoration on the carburetter and a full rebuild on the braking system. Upon test drive this Vanguard drove just as she should firing up straight away and running through the gears smoothly. The whole concept of purchasing a light commercial for private classic motoring combined with its advertising potential is one we have enjoyed for many years and proved to be an enormous success.
