OPEL ASTRA Olympia 1950

vehicle overview

1950 Opel Olympia 1500cc Manual. The 1948 Opel Olympia was the first series to leave the Russelsheim works after the war. Nearly 26,000 were built, many for export countries. Changes in 1950 included a new front end and the then modern column gear-change. This 1950 two door Opel was fully restored 6 years ago, including all new interior seats, carpet, headlining and bright work. Structurally solid and rust free with no signs of welding. The history folder includes the original service coupon book. Kept in a museum for more than 40 years in South Africa it drives superbly and is admired anywhere it goes. Paintwork is very good as is the interior. Ideal for a serious collector can be driven anywhere. We see this car as a sound investment and is great for Goodwood, Classic Car Shows and TV work. Absolutely any inspection is welcome. All major debit cards accepted. Delivery can be arranged.
