1962 Morris Mini Minor Van. Original Tweed Grey with Tan Upholstery.
This beautiful van has undergone a no expense spared restoration to bring the van back to
the condition you see today. A lot of the original parts have been either rebuilt or
reconditioned and put back on the the van to keep the originality. New floors, doors and a
complete front end have been fitted using heritage parts only. Brand new subframe on the
rear with new swing arms. Every part of the brakes have been replaced with genuine parts.
Huge mechanical overhaul where mostly new parts have been fitted. Repainted inside and
out then baked in a oven to give the van a deep gloss finish.Still running its original 850cc
engine which has had a top end rebuild and a new clutch fitted. Cylinder head has been
converted to run on unleaded fuel. Starts on the button and drives just as it should with no
faults. The van was restored by a well known Mini specialist and is a credit to them for the
high level of craftmanship. This really is a rare opportunity to own a genuine 1962 van still
with its original number plate (888 ABO) and matching numbers. These early vans are very
rare now and this one would grace any collection, show or rally field. Just waiting to be
