MORRIS MINI Pick Up 1967

vehicle overview

1967 Morris Mini Phoenix Pick Up. Chilli red with Recaro interior. The Mini Phoenix was the brainchild of ex Lotus employee Paul Haussauer who also formed the Clan Motor Company. Only 63 Mini Phoenix's were produced during the early eighties and this is believed to be the only pick up in existence. The Phoenix body is a GRP monocoque body shell with a bonded in roll bar. This pick up was fully restored over a three year period, it has been fitted with an engine and electrics from a modern Mini MPi, and has a Maniflow exhaust system and K&N filter. The brakes were upgraded with Cooper S discs and the Mini has been fitted with Avon Safety wheels. The interior has been re-upholstered with leather and tartan Recaro seats and a leather MGF sports steering wheel. A bespoke rear frame and cover have also been fabricated. It is in super condition and would make a great addition to any collection or as a great advertising tool for your business. MOT until March 2017 with no advisories. On test drive the Mini performed very well with a strong engine and smooth gearbox. With early factory pick up's now demanding huge prices this is a great opportunity to purchase a Mini commercial. Absolutely any inspection is welcome. Viewing is highly recommended. Delivery can be arranged.
