1938 Morris Eight Series II Two Door Saloon. In Blue with blue leather interior and a working Pytchley sunroof and opening windscreen.
Morris's great Thirties success and one of Britain's best-loved pre-war cars, it is no exaggeration to say that the Eight was the car that saved the company. It was an affordable family car, better suited to the now busy English roads than the larger models in the range. So successful was it that within three years of its introduction in September 1934, over 160,000 had been sold.
This lovely Morris had been with its previous owner for the last 13 years and has had circa £2000 of engine work, new wheel cylinders, clutch and a stainless steel exhaust to ensure that she is running and driving just as she should. The vehicle comes with an operation manual and service instruction books, V5, old MOTs and invoices. An older restoration which is standing the test of time with the paintwork still in a good condition. The car starts on the button and drives well with a good engine and gearbox. Perfect for shows or rallies. This Morris would grace any private collection and is a car we would be very proud to own. Absolutely any inspection is welcome. All major debit cards accepted. UK mainland delivery included. Please follow us on Facebook and Instagram @morseclassics
