MG TF

1953 MG TF 1250cc in Black with red leather interior and tan hood and side screens. The TF was introduced in October 1953. Although mechanically very similar to its TD predecessor, the provision of a shorter radiator, revised wing line and faired-in headlamps lent it an altogether sportier air.
The lovely MG TF was completed in Abingdon on the 29th December 1953 making it one of the last TFs to be produced that year. The heritage certificate shows it was a RHD car made for the export market, this TF went to Australia and then later in its life to America but has always remained a RHD car. The car was then repatriated in 2007 and has been with its previous owner since 2009. The car had been in storage and was only sold due to losing the storage space. We have carried out some light recommissioning to ensure she is running and driving as she should. This car is ready to be enjoyed in the upcoming summer months and was a pleasure to take out for a test drive for photographs. Absolutely any inspection is welcome and viewing is highly recommended.
