1964 MGB Roadster MK I Pull Handle. This very rare and desirable Pull Handle is beautifully
presented in Iris Blue with Blue Leather piped upholstery. Conceived in the late 1950s and
launched in 1962, the MG B would turn out to be one of the most successful sports cars of all
time. Attractively styled, cheap to run and easily maintained by the home mechanic, the ‘B’
carried on MG’s traditional role of providing affordable, sports car motoring for the ordinary
enthusiast. The B was mechanically similar to the preceding MG A, though with heavier,
unitary construction bodyshell. To compensate for the newcomer’s increased weight the
existing B-Series engine was stretched from 1622 to 1798cc, while the MG B’s aerodynamically
efficient lines made the most of the maximum available 95bhp to achieve a top speed
which just bested the magic ‘ton’. This is an original UK right hand drive car that has been
with its last owner for 17 years, during this time it has been little used and cherished. The car
was restored some years ago and is still in beautiful condition today. The MG has a lovely
clean bodyshell with straight panels, very good fitting doors and great panel alignment.
Whilst on test drive to take the photographs the MG performed very well with a great engine
pulling well through the rev range and displaying good oil pressure. The MG is a great drivers
car that is extremely fun to drive with super handling and this one is just waiting to be
enjoyed in new hands. This car still retains its original features including steering wheel. The
car has an MOT until May 2019 with no advisories. Absolutely any inspection is welcome and
