MG MGC GT 1970

vehicle overview

1970 MGC GT Manual with Overdrive. Black Tulip with black leather upholstery and a black Webasto sunroof. Supplied new to University Motors in London the accompanying Heritage Certificate shows that it is an original right hand drive home market car. The car also benefits from wire wheels, overdrive gearbox and full lenght Webasto sunroof. A body restoration was carried out approximately 10 years ago when the MG was fitted with many new panels which is shown on photographs in the history file. The car was also in receipt of a complete re-paint in Black Tulip and a reconditioned gearbox at this time. The car starts on the button and drives very well with the big engine pulling well and a smooth gearbox with working overdrive on 3rd and 4th gears and is effortless when cruising and very happy in modern traffic. University Motors purchased the remaining MGC's from the factory when the model ceased production. This particular car left the factory in November 1969 and was not registered until December 1970 with University creating MG Specials during this time, this car having some extras which may have been fitted by University Motors. A fresh MOT will be applied upon sale. This MG is just waiting to be enjoyed in new hands. Absolutely any inspection is welcome. All major debit and credit cards accepted. Please contact us for any further information. Delivery can be arranged.
