1977 MGB Roadster Rally Car Evocation. Manual Overdrive. Tartan red with black leather and a white factory style hard top.Not a Sebring and never raced or rallied, but this 1977 MGB Roadster does have racer-chic and Sebring inspiration to make it stand out. The MGB had a body restoration and re-paint carried out by Brindley Automotive Engineers of Oldbury in 2009. The car had previously been fitted with a competition roll hoop, Perspex headlamp covers, and black leather seats from Midland Sports and Classics Ltd. In 2010 the car received a new brake servo and the following year it was fitted with a front shocker conversion kit and was rolling road tested at High Tech Motorsports in Cradley Heath and shown to be producing 91bhp at 5,213rpm. In 2014 a Powerspark electronic distributor was fitted and the suspension was overhauled and fitted with polybushes. In 2015 the racer look was carried further with the addition of Sebring front and rear valences which, with the Minilite replica alloy wheels, racing roundels and twin spot lamps, make the car look very sporting indeed. On the road the car performs very well with a strong engine and smooth gearbox with overdrive working correctly, the oil pressure is very good and there are no axle whines. We have a huge history file with the car which includes 27 old MOT certificates along with lots of bills and invoices. Absolutely any inspection is welcome. All major debit cards accepted. Delivery included in the purchase price to any UK mainland address.
