1973 MGB Roadster Manual with Overdrive. Tartan red with black leather upholstery and black cloth hood. This Roadster has had many upgrades over the years including a 1950cc B series engine. The car was fully restored in 2002 by an owner of 20 years. The body was media blasted, new inner and outer sills were fitted along with new castle sections and jacking points, the front wings, doors and boot lid were also replaced. The engine has a gas flowed cylinder head, power max pistons, fast road camshaft, tuftrided crankshaft, the car also benefits from a competition clutch and sports distributor. A 45 DCOE Weber carburettor completes the power upgrades. Other additions include a Banjo rear axle, stainless steel exhaust system, Moto Lita steering wheel and Pirelli 2000 tyres. A brand new mohair pack away hood has just been fitted along with brand new chrome spinners. The gearbox is fitted with laycock overdrive in third and fourth gears. The paintwork is very bright and the chrome shows no signs of pitting. The wire wheels give a classic sports look and the black leather upholstery is in lovely order as are the carpets and door cards. The car drives just as it should with good oil pressure and sounds great with the twin choke carburettor. If you are looking for a well sorted roadster that is very usable and great fun to drive then this car is well worth a look. This is a car that we are very proud to own.
