1963 Land Rover IIA in Poppy Red with a grey interior. The Land Rover Series IIA is considered by many to be the hardiest Series model constructed. This beautiful 1963 Land Rover Series IIA has benefitted from an extensive restoration in 2015. The body was acid dipped and fully resprayed in its, believed to be original, Poppy Red colour scheme and both the chassis and bulkhead were treated and galvanised. During the restoration, the Land Rover was fitted with sensible upgrades including a heated front screen, a split charge system with camping battery fitted underneath the front passenger seat, a USB port at the front and a concealed fridge connection port at the rear. A rear draw and heavy-duty galvanised hood sticks to support a camping tent that can be used on the roof were also fitted. The Land Rover has a V5, various invoices and some MOT test certificates. With a current MOT till 29th March 2022 with no advisories. Where do you find a better one? Upon test drive this Land Rover drove just as she should with a strong engine and a smooth gearbox.
