This lovely XK150 has had just three owners in its 64-year life (two since 1962) and remained the treasured possession of the previous keeper for 22 of them. This XK150 has evidently benefitted from a substantial degree of maintenance over its lifetime with written notebooks from 1962 detailing all maintenance. Over the last 18500 miles the car has benefited from painted wire wheels, Pirelli Cinturato tyres, hubs, wheel bearings, brake discs, master and wheel cylinders, upper wishbone bushes and wiring harness have all be renewed and the steering rack refurbished. Equal attention has been paid to the interior, which has seen the seats and original steering wheel refurbished and the carpets, door cards, hood and headlining replaced by Jaguar specialist coach-trimmers Suffolk & Turley. Invoices on file that no expense has been spared in bringing the car into its stunning current condition. The Jaguar has apparently amassed a total of 174,047 miles to date all documented in the written maintenance records, though a change of speedometer along the way means it only currently displays 25,036.
Upon test drive the car drove with a smooth gearbox with working overdrive, good oil pressure and a strong 3.4 engine which pulls well when you want it to. The car comes with a fantastic history folder, and the car has an MOT till January 2023 with no advisories. This XK150 is ready to be used and enjoyed over the coming summer months and would look fantastic on any showground or in any collection.
