1963 Jaguar MK II 2.4 / 240 Automatic. Golden Sand with unmarked Biscuit Leather. A complete and no expense spared professional rebuild by Flying Cat Engineering in 2012. This fabulous Jaguar was entrusted to Flying Cat Engineering of Royston, Hertfordshire for a thorough restoration. Undergoing various underside and body panel repairs before being treated to a bare metal respray and fresh coat of underseal, the Jaguar also benefited from a professional re-trim (boot mat/panels, headlining, sun visor covers, seats, carpets, miscellaneous panels) and sundry re-chroming. The original 2.4 litre straight-six DOHC engine was converted to run on unleaded fuel and extensively overhauled via a re-bore, reground crankshaft, reconditioned cylinder head, refurbished oil pump and new bearings/pistons/chains. The suspension gained new joints, bushes and mountings where needed and the brakes were rejuvenated thanks to a new servo/discs/pipes plus reconditioned cylinders/calipers. The steering was also upgraded with power assistance. The electrical components/connections were checked and serviced, while the dashboard was fitted with a refurbished clock and speedometer. Further enhanced via new rear lights, window rubbers/seals and chrome wire wheels. The car has covered less than 1,000 miles since the restoration was carried out. This beautiful Jaguar drives without fault as you would expect and is ready to show. A great investment and a real rarity to find one in this condition. Absolutely any inspection is welcome. Viewing is highly recommended and we know you won't be disappointed. All major debit and credit cards accepted. Please contact us for any further information. Delivery can be arranged.
