Originally manufactured in Dagenham in 1936 this car was then assembled in Cork from a CKD kit the following year. Its first owner was apparently a doctor who used it for his pre-war rounds in Southern Ireland. We believe the notably low recorded mileage of just 20,037 is genuine, as the vehicle was stored in both Eire and Belfast for some years although this cannot be warranted. The car was then purchased and registered in the UK in 2018, the previous owner setting about restoring the car. The car was stripped and has been fitted with a reconditioned engine, all wheels powder coated with new tyres and inner tubes fitted, the front and rear seats being professionally recovered, new carpets, rear original window blind restored and a full respray. All having been documented in photographs for the history file. Since being fully restored the car has only covered 112 miles and upon test drive this lovely Ford drove just as she should with a nippy little engine and smooth gearbox.
