AUSTIN HEALEY FROGEYE SPRITE
Convertible - (1960)
1960 Austin Healey Frogeye Sprite Mk I in red with red interior. An original UK RHD MkI first registered in the UK on 8th January 1960. The car then went to Mr Robert Clayton in Enniskillen, Northern Ireland and comes with its Irish Buff logbook. The car had a full rebuild between 2010-2012 with photos on file upgrading the car with a 1275cc engine, the gearbox was rebuilt, 1 ¼ twin carbs and an uprated clutch and a respray. The rebuild is still looking in lovely condition today with the car running and driving fantastically well with the upgraded engine enabling the frogeye to keep up with modern traffic. The history folder shows a stack of invoices over the frogeyes life, old logbooks and old MOTs. A stunning example of a Frogeye that comes with a hardtop in white, side screens and a black soft top. This car really was a joy to take out with the uprated engine making this a good fun little classic to take out on sunny days and have some real fun with. Viewing is highly recommended as with the quality of this car you really won’t be disappointed. All major debit cards accepted. Please call us for more information. UK mainland delivery included.
